Kuvie – Energy (Review)

KUVIE shares appreciative song “ENERGY” WITH RJZ and B4bonnah.

Undoubtedly one of the best producers in Ghana, Kuvie who is known for

Hit songs “AYE LATE” and A.I’s anthem “GRIND” released a new song on

his birthday. He brings along LA MEME star RJZ and Tema’s new breakout

boy B4bonnah on board. ENERGY is well engineered for a good time.

The song takes off with a melodic phrase whiles a happy B4bonnah’s

voice dances on the Mid-Tempo vibe. B4bonnah gets so endearing and energetic with

his listener or lover with a notable chorus “whenever you smile at me,

you make me feel this energy” showing how appreciative his lover is,

which sums up a perfect entry into the track. He delivers a verse that overall

rounds off his love for his lover and lays emphasis on how “supernatural” the

never ending energy his lover gives him when she smiles.

RJZ, as expected dives into the song with a goofy flirting style with quotable

Lyrics “come on girl come close to me, let me feel the big back on me” which

Comes with a sensual command. He goes on to sing “give me an epiphany help

me see” which carries an intuitive grasp of love and reality and a bloom of love

realization. The song ends with a surprising Neo-traditional theme from B4bonnah

who uses Twi folk language to flow with the African drums and impeccable

production from Kuvie. The song as a whole shows how much of a fantastic piece

Of Afro-beats Machinery, and both RJZ and B4bonnah makes everything work

With their smooth and harmonious verse delivery respectively. It’s a love anthem

at its best with pure energy and love for everyone.
